Your subdomain is your own name for web and email. With Shindig you get your own unique subdomain name.

For example, If you select mybusiness as your subdomain you will get email and web in mybusiness.shindig.com.au.

You should choose domain name carefully as it will be the name you are addressed by on the internet. Subdomains are unique, register now to reserve your name.

Shindig also works with your own domain name. We have solutions if you already have a domain or if you want to register one. Contact sales@shindig.com.au for further information.

Your username will be your email address and login name.

For example, if you have selected mybusiness as your subdomain and select fred as your username your email address will be
fred@mybusiness.shindig.com.au
You will log in to shindig using that email address. Shindig allows you to create additional users in accordance with your plan allowance once you are logged in. Each of these users get an email address and can log in to Shindig. NOTE: Username can be max 10 characters long.

The price of your chosen Shindig plan is charged monthly in Australian dollars. Payment is made automatically from your credit card at the beginning of each month. The first payment will include a pro-rata charge for usage in the preceeding month.email us for a tailoired plan.

The number of users in your plan determines how many people can simultaneously log-in to use Shindig. Each person will have their own calendar, list of tasks & email address (name@domain.shindig.com.au). if you need more than 9 users, email us for a tailoired plan.

The number of contacts in your plan refers to the number of people you can store in your database. You can save address, phone, email and membership details. Each contact can be included in email lists and can be associated with tasks, purchases and appointments. For each contact you'll be able to view email and phone records, tasks, orders and appointments.

Lists are sections of your database that you define - for example, to send out a group email. Lists can be built manually, by selecting individuals from your main contact list, or dynamically - by choosing criteria that will be used to determine who is included. Lists can be used over and over again - for example, to send a regular newsletter.

The email limit in your plan determines how many emails can be saved. Saved emails can be linked to names in your contact list, so you can view a full communications history with people on your database. And you'll be able to see these emails from anywhere, whenever you log-in to Shindig.

A campaign is an email to multiple recipients. Rather than selecting the individual names of people you want to email, you choose a list that you have built. The number of campaigns in your plan determines how often you'll be able to use this tool in each calendar month.

The number of products in a plan refers to the size of your product catalog(ue). This determines how many different items you'll be able to sell and/or display on your website. You order items from the product catalog and these orders are associated with people in your contact database, so you can keep track of who bought what and when.

Shindig's site editor makes it easy to create a great looking website in minutes. What's more, it can interface with the rest of Shindig to take enquiries or online orders. If you prefer you can upload your own html pages. You need to be on a paid plan to publish pages you create in the Shindig site editor.

Plans marked as "Solo Brand" mean that your website and the emails you send will feature only your company name. If "Solo Brand" is not offered then your website and each email you send will include a short promotion of Shindig and a link to our website.

Pop-up advertisements appear in the right hand side of your screen. You can continue working, although sometimes to access functions you might need to close the pop-up window. If you don't want to see advertising when you use Shindig, choose a plan that is ad-free!
