With Shindig you'll get full, secure access to a wealth of customer data via any broadband internet connection. That means more than just looking up an address or phone number - for any contact in your database you can see all email, phone calls, campaigns, purchase histories, bookings and other tasks associated with that contact.

We call it the 360-degree view - because you get to see everything about that contact just about anywhere in Shindig that you see his or her name. Emails, appointments, phone logs, product orders, tasks - all are linked to contacts in your database and are just a click away. Larger organisations can spend millions trying to tie information together like this - with Shindig its easy.

A great feature is the ability to build lists, which you can use for mail-outs, of for other "actions" such as phone-outs or follow ups. Lists can be built manually, simply by adding names from your main contact list, or you can choose criteria - such as age, location or purchase behaviour - that will automatically determine who should be included. With such rich features Shindig gives your business a much brighter outlook !

You log-on, search for the name and click to see all the email you and your colleagues have sent and received from that customer. Sending emails is easy too. You have all the functions you'd associate with major email software, but it's available through your web browser, wherever you are on-line. And every time you or your staff send emails to people on your database, that email is attached to the contact record, so you can keep track of all correspondence.

If you want to send a newsletter, product update or notice to all of your contacts, or to a list you have defined, it's as easy as sending an email to one person. Shindig well help you to stay organised. Get online and keep track of who you have to call and what you have to do. Or see how your staff are progressing with the tasks you've assigned to them. And, if a customer calls to see how a job is progressing, you can find the current status just by looking for the contact's name.

The "Actions" section of Shindig is where you keep a record of all the tasks you have on the go. And when it's finished, it is stored away so you can always check back to see who did what, for who and when. It's also where you keep track of phone calls, so all communications with any of your contacts are logged - from anyone in your company.

Soon, we're adding the ability to automate actions. Imagine if you could send an email thanking someone when they've bought something on your website, without lifting a finger. Or you want to send a reminder to someone when they're a week out from their next appointment. Shindig's Actions section will keep you on top of what you've got to do, and ease the workload by doing some of the repetitive tasks for you.

With Shindig you can be taking bookings 24 hours a day. You can log-in to access the calendars of you and your staff, wherever you are. And soon you'll be able to give permission for your customers to do the same via your own website. They'll see when staff & resources are available, choose the type of service they want and make the booking, even when your business is closed!

Like everything in Shindig, booking details are stored alongside the contact. So it's easy for you to see all the previous bookings for a particular customer.

All customer appointments can be linked to services in your product catalogue. That means, like any other order, you can track payment and record the spend alongside the rest of the customer's details. Bookings and calendars are a sophisticated feature of Shindig - designed to keep your business moving.

This is supported by a comprehensive ordering capability so you can track the progress of all orders - for example, see which orders are yet to be fulfilled. You can also look back at the orders made - for example, to see which customers are buying the most. And all orders are linked to contacts - so a full order history for any person is just a click or two away!

We are currently finalising first build of an analysis pack. The statistics section will not just be a repository for reports - although they'll be there too. We want to provide sales, marketing and operational advice based on the statistics we gather. For example, who are your highest value customers? Where do they come from and what, if anything, is making them leave? Do you have products that are slow to move and others which could sell faster if they were priced differently? Which staff members are most productive and why?

The first report sets will be financial reports that you can import directly in to Quicken or MOB and get your Shindig data integrated with your financial data.

All Shindig data is housed in a state of the art data centre, with round the clock CCTV security. All systems are monitored 24x7, with backups of your data taken daily, with weekly backups stored offsite.
